I watched two podcasts from the radio stations "This American Life" and "Radio Lab." From This American Life I watched "Is That What I Look Like?" I watched the segment "One Life to Live."

Both radio shows had a lot in common. They both used similar techniques to enhance their show such as adding music very often both during pauses and behind the talking. They also kept peoples reactions included and did not trim the "Oh wow's " or "Really?"'s out. This adds a more personal level to the show and makes it more of a casual conversation then a report.
A difference I noticed was that in This American Life they had a conversation led by one person/interviewer. This person guided the whole conversation where as Radio Lab had more of an open discussion with many people talking and commenting on the story being told.
I liked the more formal/guided conversation because it was much easy to follow and we got to understand the interviewer and her opinions and purpose, rather than hearing many different voices at one time. Both shows were interesting and creatively done.

PathFinder InDesign
When I went on in design I created a circle and filled it with a peach color. Then I added a stroke to the circle. When adding a stroke I not only thickened it, but changed the stroke style to be a much more small circles surrounding the main one, and changed their colors. Then I created a star using our knew knowledge and formatted that one as well. Then I used pathfinder to subtract the star into the main circle. Then I created one more star with a funky stroke and subtracted that one into the middle of the other star. This is how I created my logo!
